Designed specifically for Aikido practice, this Aikido Bokken is made of solid, one-piece Japanese red oak. This Bokken is favored by Iwama Style Aikido practitioners, the Aikido Bokken features a blunt point and slight Sori (curvature). It also comes with a thicker Tsuka (handle) which aids in developing strong grip ("Tenouchi") required for executing Aikido techniques. Made thicker for hard contact practice and Tanrenuchi exercise.
